The puppeteer must perform in our 40lb. 9ft. tall, backpack puppets as well large head costumes. Please see our website<puppet world.com>   CHARACTERS       ACTOR/DANCER/PUPPETEER (20-35 Male ) Physical coordination and upper body strength is important. Basic dancing includes waltz, march, barrel rolls, musical choreography and blocking. No singing required, puppets perform to a prerecorded music track. The company will be on the road for multiple weeks at a time with returns to the Tampa area between bookings. Performances are in theatres, college auditoriums, cultural centers in the eastern and central United States. This is a salaried touring position--plus a food allowance and lodging when on the road. Generally there are two 50 minute performances a day, 3-4 days a week. Load in to the theater is four hours. Load out is 1.5 hours. All three of the company members share performance, stage build up, technical and driving duties. This is a great chance to tour and get onstage and backstage experience with audiences and crews in a variety of venues. You must be an adult who enjoys travel and driving- with a valid drivers license and able to pass Florida education fingerprinting test. .
